Sociedad Agrícola Cato continuously works to improve the safeguard and food safety conditions of its fruit, and submits to annual certification under the following standards:
Organic production in the orchard, as well as during packing and export, as per the standards of the USA National Organic program (NOP), those of the European Community (CE) and the Chilean Standard 20089.
GlobalGAP version 5.1 Protocol of Good Agricultural Practices, including
the module for Risk Assessment on Social Practices (GRASP), version 1.3.
PRIMUS GFS, version 2.1-2, protocol for global food safety assurance, and SEDEX Protocol on Corporate Social Responsibility.
